Samsung flexible smartphone shown behind closed doors on CES 2018
Despite the statements of the president of the mobile unit Samsung Dee Jay Koch that the bent smartphone company will not release until next year, the device was still shown at the CES 2018 in Las Vegas. It was a closed presentation, which was not allowed to press or visitors.
According to sources, the company brought to Las Vegas two devices: one with a 7.3-inch OLED display, foldable inward and having a radius of curvature of 1R, and the other was curved outward with a radius of curvature of 5R. Other details about the devices are not reported.
It is expected that Samsung will officially introduce a bendable smartphone at the end of this year or early next year.
