Vernee Active: proofs tough for hackers
Company Vernee has officially presented the first protected smartphone, received the name Active. Its key feature was an unusual appearance and more powerful features than competitors in the class. The device has an eight-core Helio P25 processor and 6 GB of RAM. He is not afraid of water, since it is made according to the IP68 standard. Now the gadget is available for pre-order at a special price.
On the front side of Active is a 5.5-inch display produced by JDI with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and without an air layer under the glass. Vernee assures that the thickness and weight of the device is comparable to the 5-inch models, which strongly distinguishes it against the background of other protected smartphones.
A bunch of eight-core Helio P25 processor and 6 GB of RAM provide good performance and smooth operation of the device in any everyday tasks. To store information there is 128 GB of internal memory. It is also equipped with a universal USB Type-C connector, an NFC module for contact less payments, a fingerprint scanner on the back side and global support for fourth-generation networks. Inside there is a battery with the capacity of 4 200 mAh, which supports fast charging technology 9V / 2A. According to the manufacturer, it takes 2.5 hours to fully charge the device.
Thanks to protection according to the IP68 standard, the gadget is able to withstand immersion in water at a depth of 1 meter for a duration of 30 minutes. In addition, it is certified for the military standard of strength MIL-STD-910G. This means that he is not afraid of strikes, shaking, extremely low and high temperatures and other types of physical influences.
The Vernee Active case is reinforced in the corners and completely protected from dust ingress. The back side for greater strength is covered with Kevlar, used in the military sphere.
