Apple is preparing an iPhone with a curved screen and frameless iPad.

Apple may release iPhone with a curved display in the next year, says the report of the Wall Street Journal.

SuppliersOLED-displays noted an increase in shipments of matrices and the appearance of the prototype screens at a higher resolution than that of Samsung. According to the WSJ whistleblower, 10 prototypes of Apple’s new flagship with a curved screen has been made but the final decision on its launch in production was not accepted. Model with curved display will cost much more than conventional models. The first supplier of OLED-panels will be Samsung, by 2018 the volume of supply will be increased at the expense of LG Display, Japan Display, and Sharp.

 

Another leak reaffirmed the company’s intention to release the iPad with a larger screen size, but with an important caveat. Although the tablet size may increase up to 10.9 inches, thanks to a sharp narrowing of the frame around the screen size for a tablet close to the current 9.7-inch iPad. In this case the plate thickness of 7.5 mm, as in the original iPad Air. By the way, an updated version of the iPad Pro with 12.9-inch screen will also get a body with thin frame, but with a thicker body. According to unconfirmed reports, the increase in thickness will be about 3 mm.

Release tablet can be held in March next year.
