Elephone P9000 upgraded to Android 7.0 next month

A few weeks after the release of Android 7.0 Nougat, Elephone company announced the start of work on the firmware on the basis of the operating system for their devices. The manufacturer intends to release an update for its flagship smartphone  Elephone P9000 first, but the exact timing was not made public.

Now Elephone representatives confirmed that the P9000 very soon will receive OTA-upgrade to Android 7.0. This should happen in the middle of next month. After that, all new Elephone P9000 phones will ship with Android 7.0 “out of the box”.

With the upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat owners of Elephone P9000 should be waiting for a large number of changes, including a multi-mode, the function, quick reply to messages, view the updated notification, saving mobile traffic mode, improved Doze power saving mode, and more.

Recall flagship Elephone P9000 is equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD-display, eight-Elephone P9000 upgraded to Android 7.0 processor MediaTek Helio P10, 4 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor and laser autofocus, battery capacity of 3000 mAh, connector USB Type- C and E Touch multifunction button with an integrated fingerprint reader.
