Flexible OLED-display HoloFlex Smartphone Allows you to watch 3D-video without Special Glasses

As the world continues to wait for flexible smartphones, Samsung has once more postponed the release of bendable smartphones, as researchers around the world are actively working in this direction.

Earlier this year, experts from the University of Queens in Kingston presented a working prototype bendable smartphone and now they have moved a step further in this direction by creating a flexible smartphone with the light field display.

 The project is named HoloFlex has a special structure screen which allows you to view three-dimensional images without 3D-glasses.

HoloFlex is based on a flexible OLED-display with a resolution of 1920 X1080 pixels, which is installed on top of the more than 16 thousand hexagonal wide-angle lens, creating another layer with a resolution 160h104 points. This picture seems to surround all sides.
It is also known that the smartphone is powered by 810 Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
