A few days ago emerged rumors about Samsung working on a simplified version of a premium processor Exynos 8890, which will be called Exynos 8870 and will make it’s debut as early as 2016.
In addition, Samsung has repeatedly hinted that the new chipset will be used in devices from third-party companies. The first candidate for the partnership with Samsung, was the company Meizu, which Samsung has already collaborated with in creating Meizu PRO 5, which was released on the basis of processor Exynos 7420.
Today, however, the Internet leaked information about a possible collaboration of Samsung and Lenovo on the development of the new processor.
The company Lenovo is planning to launch a new budget smartphone Lenovo K4 Note in India. The New K4 will be the spiritual successor to the very popular smartphone in eastern countries Lenovo K3 Note. It is not known whether the smartphone K4 will be sold by Lenovo in the United States or Europe, because the company is busy conquering the Chinese, Indian and Malaysian markets for now.
It is expected that the new Samsung processor will be used in more unannounced flagship devices by Lenovo.
