According to new data, the number of devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow from last month increased by 67%, and now they account for 0.5% of all Android-devices. This is only slightly more than the number of active smart phones based on Android 2.2 Froyo and all still less than the Android 2.3 Gingerbread (3,4%) and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (2,9%).
The vast majority of Android-devices (36.6%) is still running Android 4.4 KitKat. In second place (29.5%) is Android 5.0-5.1 Lollipop, and the third (26,9%) – Android Jelly Bean.
